Different Types of Learners and Different Types of Teachers When I started to seriously consider homeschooling Brown Sugar, I realized that I didn't really know her learning style. I knew that she remembered animal facts easily, loved to read and professed that math was evil. But her learning, um...style...I didn't know. I started reading about learning styles and found quite a bit of lengthy questionnaires to help figure this out. I certainly couldn't sit with my then, 7 year old and go through a 54 question "test" so for a while I just observed her.
